PDA Resources

Personal Digital Assistants (PDAs) are handheld computers that can provide drug reference, medical dictionaries, calculators, calendars and diagnosis support to medical and healthcare professionals. PDAs help healthcare professionals get access to current information on demand in portable and convenient technology.

This page provides links to product and instructional information for PDA users, from the beginner to the more experienced. Please note that some software products are provided to UTHSCSA users, others are freely available and others have individual costs.

Library Support: Did you know you can stop by the Information Desk if you need help with your PDA? Be sure to bring your PDA cable and if you are a laptop user, bring your laptop along as well. The Library also has two stations set up for PDA software installation on the Second Floor. Please note, the Library only offers PDA support for UTHSCSA course-related software. See if the Library has a PDA class scheduled.
