Consumer Health
Introduction
Health information published for the general population as consumers of health may be found in numerous sites on the World Wide Web (WWW). Topics are as varied as the individuals seeking the information. In an effort to narrow the focus, the selected sites listed below offer starting points with which to begin a search for consumer health information. Also listed are a few specific subject areas which may be of particular interest.
For more information and additional links to consumer health resources, visit the Consumer Health Information Project (CHIP) web site, developed by Briscoe Library staff in support of a grant that increases access to consumer health information for the public.
