Library Resources For Internet Point of Care

What is Internet Point of Care?

Internet PoC CME is structured, self-directed, online learning relevant to clinical practice.

The objectives are to:

1. Ask a clinical question in order to identify knowledge needs

2. Using the links to databases listed on this webpage, conduct background research to answer the question [Note: sources cannot be located by a librarian and delivered to the physician; the entire process must be completed by the physician.]

3. Review published evidence

4. List resources consulted

5. Report whether the information applied to clinical care

This service is available to UT HSC faculty and staff and to health professionals who are associated with the Libraries' CLHIN (Circuit Library Health Information Network) program or with the Practice Based Research Network (PBRN).

How Do I Claim Credit? Can I Link to Library Resources Off-Campus?
