Information & Reference Services
The Briscoe Library provides information and reference services for the faculty, staff and students of The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, for health care professionals and students in South Texas, and for the general public.
Information services can be requested in person at the Library's Information Desk or by calling (210) 567-2450 or by email to AskaLibrarian@uthscsa.edu. Help is also available through IM. See the Get Help page for details.
Librarians are also available to conduct biomedical database searches on a variety of topics. Charges for database searches vary; further information can be obtained by sending a message to AskaLibrarian@uthscsa.edu or by calling (210) 567-2450.
Information services staff also teach a variety of classes on using the Library's resources.

Library staff are available to provide information and reference services, at the Information Desk, during the following hours:
