Giving to the UT HSC Libraries

How You Can Help

Please consider honoring a family member, friend, or colleague by making a contribution to the Library that will be of lasting value. Bookplates will be placed in appropriate volumes for donations of more than $50. The Library will acknowledge all gifts, send an announcement to the honoree, and list the gifts in the library newsletter. Donors may designate if the gift is for a book, journal, or other Library service. You may use the Donation form to designate a specific use for your gift and how you would like it to be acknowledged. All gifts to the Library are tax deductible.

Gifts of Books and Other Library Materials

The Library accepts gifts and donations of books, journals, and other materials if these items are needed for the collection. In accepting these materials, the Library retains the right to dispose of them if they duplicate existing materials or are outside the scope of the Library's collection. Please contact Susan Buentello, Associate Library Director for Collection Resources, at (210) 567-2400 or buentellos@uthscsa.edu, if you would like information about donating materials to the Library.

Memorial Donations

Donors may honor the memory of someone through a gift to fund the purchase of a book or journal subscription. A special bookplate will be placed in the book noting the person memorialized and the donor.
