Floor Plans: Briscoe Library

The Briscoe Library has four floors, numbered 2 through 5. The main floor, where you enter the building, is the 3rd floor.

Second Floor

The second floor is now closed for construction of new campus classrooms. The classrooms are expected to be complete by 2010.

Third Floor

The Library entrance is on the library third floor. The reference and reserve collections, the library Administration office, and the library service points are also on this floor. Wireless internet is available on every floor.

Library computers (PC and Mac), printers, and scanners are all now located on the 3rd floor in the Information Commons. Nine group study rooms are also available along the windows facing the parking lot.

Fourth Floor

All of our print journals are shelved on the fourth floor (we also have many current journals electronically).

Campus offices for the Drug Information Service and the Academic Center for Excellence in Teaching (ACET) are also located on this floor.

Fifth Floor

The Library's main book collection and the Library's Special Collections are located on the Fifth Floor. The X-Ray collection (and lightbox) is located in Group Study Room 5U.
